After an incident involving a drunken dare and a risky resurrection spell, Cheslin finds herself fused to the mimic that ate her and in the service of the wizard what did the fusing. As much as the wizard Ozirick wanted his mimic back—he worked hard on that!—the last thing he wants is to unleash this accidental monstrosity upon the world... Or to be responsible for the emotional well being of a young woman.

And Cheslin hungers for more than the wizard is willing to provide.

In addition to this strange, shape changing body, she now shares the mind of a monster. And all this one seems to know is eat flesh, horde treasure, and lie. If she wants to maintain her sanity, or even just her last shred of humanity, Cheslin is going to need to find a way to keep the monster satisfied.
